Introducing the 4 series Processor

The new 4 series processor (H4-H48-120) is similar to the existing wired processors (now known as 8 series). However, there are a couple of notable differences.

First, the 4 series processors include an integral H48 dimmer interface. Therefore, wired MaestroŽ local lighting controls are used (VareoŽ controls cannot be used with H48s).

Secondly, the 4 series processor does not include a module interface link, so it cannot control remote power modules. However, wallbox power modules (WPMs) may be used on one of the configurable links. Use WPMs to conceal dimming equipment and reduce wall clutter by using one keypad in place of several dimmers.

The 4 series processor mounts in a low-voltage enclosure. A new 24" enclosure (HWI-LV24-120) was developed specifically for this processor.

The enclosure will be available June 30 for a list price of $400. And the processor will be available August 29 for a list price of $1800.
